Total Accounting Care is pleased to welcome a new member to our team – Edd Dugbartey, who joined our enterprise on October 18 as a staff accountant. Edd is currently in training, and will be assisting TAC clients with reconciling, bookkeeping and tax preparation.
Edd joins TAC after graduating from Radford University in August, where he holds a degree in accounting and management. He has always enjoyed working with numbers and became interested in accounting after serving as treasurer for his fraternity in college, where he handled all of the bookkeeping duties for the chapter. As a junior, one of the older brothers in the fraternity recognized Edd’s aptitude for numbers and recommended him for the treasurer position. He ended up enjoying the job so much, that he held it for two years and decided to pursue accounting as a career! He is the first person in his family to become an accountant.
Edd currently resides in Centreville, Virginia with his parents and brother, and is a 2017 graduate of Centreville High School. In his free time, Edd enjoys working out, playing sports like basketball and football, and hanging with friends. Very soon, he will begin studying for the C.P.A. exam, and dreams of one day becoming a certified public accountant and owning his own C.PA. firm.
