Frank Stitely, SK CPAs Member and Small Business Advisor, received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude. He is active with the Association of Independent Certified Professional Accountants, the Maryland Society of Accountants and Tax Preparers, the Virginia Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Frank additionally volunteers with Christian Relief Services, serving on the board as the Audit Committee Chair. He and his wife have four daughters and live in Ashburn, VA. Outside of work, Frank enjoys reading, investing, racquetball, and fitness. When asked if what his wife says about him is true—that he thinks about business in the bathroom each morning—he says, “Guilty as charged, your Honor.”

A Strayer University graduate, Michelle Hecker is a Member of SK CPAs, as well as an Enrolled Agent and a Small Business Advisor. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Dulles Chamber of Commerce, where she is a prior Treasurer. Married with two children, Michelle enjoys bowling in her “spare” time. Michelle is passionate about making an impact in her clients’ lives and helping them reach their business goals. “It’s a great feeling to help apply my knowledge to educate and assist my clients, both in growth and in tax efficiency,” she says.

S&K Member Christie Krouse, who is an Enrolled Agent and serves SK CPAs as a Small Business Advisor, holds her Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting from James Madison University. Active in the Prince William Professional Networking group, Christie also loves playing tennis, running, and skiing. Christie is married with two children and twin granddaughters. She says that she enjoys working with numbers and solving puzzles, which translates to assisting clients with their tax puzzles. “It is very satisfying to help clients with tax issues who are feeling very stressed over them,” she says.

Max Spracklin is a Member at SK CPAs, also serving as a Small Business Advisor. He is a Certified Professional Accountant and received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Radford University. Outside the office, he enjoys sports and vacationing to North Carolina’s beaches and mountains with his wife, a teacher in Fairfax County. Max is passionate about providing services that will help people reach their goals, as well as helping business owners expand their business and grow their wealth. “The most memorable way that I assist customers is by providing a way for them to become more profitable and to grow effectively,” he says.

Andrew Bussom, a Tax Resolution Specialist at SK CPAs, earned his Bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. As an Enrolled Agent, he is qualified to represent clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service. Married with two children, Andrew additionally is a Correspondence Chess Master, ranking in the top 100 players in the United States. With 30 years of civil and criminal litigation experience and five years of tax preparation work under his belt, Andrew’s goal is to help people navigate the world of taxes.

Bret Caslavka is a Project Manager at SK CPAs and currently studying at George Mason University. He is active in Park Valley Church and serves as a leader in the Young Adults group. Family is very important to Bret, who is the youngest of three boys. He is passionate about doing the Lord’s will in his life and about soaking up as much as he can from his work with S&K. He works hard to assist customers by completing and filing tax returns. “Number crunching is so pleasing for me. I know that sounds a bit weird, but it is therapeutic,” he says.

Madison Childress is Firm Coordinator at SK CPAs. She received her Bachelor’s from the University of Mary Washington. When she’s not at the firm, you can find Madison playing volleyball or hanging out with her three dogs. Madison truly enjoys problem-solving and looks forward to helping the S&K team, as well as their clients, become as efficient as possible.

Operations Manager Cathy Dietze joined SK CPAs in 2017 after serving for 10 years at another firm as the firm administrator. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts from Iowa State University and is a member of the CPA Firm Management Association. In addition to spending time with her husband, two children, and grandchild, Cathy enjoys traveling, hiking, craft brews, and puzzles. “I love S&K because I enjoy the challenge of working in a complex and dynamic environment,” she says.

Small Business Advisor Ben Dronfield received his Bachelor’s in Accounting from George Mason University. He enjoys sports, gaming, board games, and spending time with his girlfriend and his cat. As someone who loves numbers, it makes Ben happy when they add up correctly. Just out of college and a new addition to S&K, Ben looks forward to helping clients achieve their business goals.

Small Business Advisor Seth Dusci received his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Mary Washington. Outside of work, you can find Seth on the pitch playing soccer or taking in a match. Because accounting can be difficult for many people, Seth is passionate about seamlessly helping people work through those difficulties. “Accounting is a large realm, you are always working as best you can in order to help each individual client understand the processes and what is in their best interests moving forward,” he says.

Angie Ferrell, an Administrative Assistant at SK CPAs, studied to become an Executive Assistant at Washington Business School. Married for 30 years, Angie has two daughters and enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, and visiting wineries and craft breweries. As an admin professional, Angie finds working in the accounting field to be exciting and is passionate about helping clients. “Whether helping people navigate the client center or helping them understand notices, I love pointing them in the right direction to get their questions answered,” she says.

Louise Furr, a Small Business Advisor at SK CPAs, received her degree in Accounting from Northern Virginia Community College. Additionally, she is affiliated with the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Married with three children and 12 grandchildren, Louise enjoys boating, crabbing, reading, traveling, and photography. Her favorite aspects about the accounting field are making a difference, helping others, strategic thinking, and finding a needle in a haystack.

SK CPAs Small Business Advisor Nathan Godfrey received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Accounting from George Mason University. In his free time, he watches sports, hits the gym, and plays video games. Nathan chose this field because he likes how everything flows together and makes sense. “I’m passionate about helping small businesses grow by analyzing and interpreting their financials,” he says. “I also enjoy helping small businesses with solidifying their processes by dealing with pain points.”

Alexandra Terrill is an Assistant Administrator at SK CPAs. She received her Associate of Science degree from Northern Virginia Community College. She loves spending time outside of work with her fiancée and their two dogs. She also loves reading, watching movies, traveling, and going to hockey games. She looks forward to helping clients keep on track and making sure their needs are met.
