Total Accounting Care is proud to welcome a new staff member: Rae Alghoraibi. Rae will be
working as a Staff Accountant, assisting six different TAC clients with QuickBooks, corporate and personal tax returns.
Rae comes to TAC after receiving both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from George Mason University. She finished her undergraduate studies in December 2019, and completed an accelerated master’s degree program in Accounting last month. She also worked as an intern at TAC’s parent company, Stitely and Karstetter, during the summer of 2019, so she is very familiar with our company and the clients we serve.
Rae originally hails from Saudi Arabia. Her father was a Saudi diplomat and brought Rae, her mother and five siblings to the Northern Virginia area in 2012. She attended middle and high school in Ashburn, Virginia – and it was during an advanced placement economics class at John Champe High School, that her interest in business was sparked. As one who loves mathematics and numbers, she has found accounting to be the “sweet spot” where math and business intersect. While she is jumping in during our busiest time of year, Rae is undaunted and excited to help our clients effectively manage their various accounting needs.
Rae currently resides in Ashburn, Virginia and enjoys painting, playing soccer and spending time with friends and family, when she is not working. During non-COVID times, she also enjoys traveling, and has seen many parts of the world while traveling with her family. Istanbul is probably one of her favorite locations, due to the amazing food and rich culture.
Currently, Rae is a CPA candidate, and has already passed two parts of the exam, with two parts remaining. In addition to her many duties at TAC, Rae is studying diligently, and hopes to pass the last two sections of the CPA exam this coming summer. Her main professional goal at this time is to become a certified CPA!
