While the world has been losing its marbles this past week, we at SK CPAs have been bouncing back and forth from feverishly working on our clients’ tax returns and paying attention to what fresh changes there have been to the tax situation this season. Here’s what you need to know about what the situation looks like right now:

Federal Filing deadline for your 2019 taxes has been put off 90 days to July 15. The payment deadline is the same day. Virginia has not changed either their filing deadline of May 1 or their payment deadline of June 1.

While S&K’s Physical office temporarily closing, all of our staff is working virtually to service any of your tax needs.

We are still taking new clients, especially for anyone who’s accountant is closing and can’t work remotely.

Right now, to make these uncertain times easier, we’re offering $50 off our fee for anyone who brings us their materials AFTER April 15.

Finally, a quick word about SBA Disaster Loans. The quickest option to get money fast for your business is from your bank.

They have many more flexible programs than the SBA Disaster Loan Program. In any event, these are all LOANS, and you must be creditworthy, but for this economic disaster, to qualify.

If you need help in any way we in which we can assist in these uncertain times, please contact us at (703) 818-8284 or e-mail fstitely@skcpas.com.
