Ever wonder how we decide which tax return we will work on next?
Here is how we prioritize our work:
1. People who pay us on time.
2. People who don’t pay us on time.
Just like any business, we survive on cash flow. When we compile our schedules each morning, we determine which projects make the most business sense for us. That means we normally work first for clients who will pay us the most quickly.
If a client pays us in 60 days or more, that person’s project is a lower priority than a project for someone who pays us immediately upon completion of the project.
We are always amazed at the clients who don’t pay us on time but request expedited service?!?
